Dads. If yours is anything like mine, then you had an interesting childhood. In both good and bad ways. You think your dad is a "cool" dad? Here are some signs:
1. He's the life of the party.
Did you ever have one of those dance/DJ parties when you were young and did your Dad take the spotlight and end up doing the sprinkler, electric slide, and get taught how to jerk? Does he love to go to parties?
2. He has more clothes in his closet than you.
I love clothes. But does your Dad LOVE clothes? Does he spend more time in the store picking out what to buy than you? Is his closet three times the size of yours? How about his tacky sweater collection?
3. People you went to school with know you by who your dad is.
Do you ever see people you went to high school with and the first thing they ask is how your Dad is doing? Or do they comment on your posts that have your Dad in them with heart eyes and oh (insert Dads name here)?
4. He takes more selfies than you.
Do you go places and try to take a selfie of just yourself, but you can't because your dad pops in the background? Yeah. Or he makes ridiculous faces, on purpose, just so you can't have a perfect picture. Oh and a selfie with a sports star? Check it off his bucket list.
5. He throws your sorority sign more than you.
Does your Dad find pride in that he can throw your sorority sign? Anytime you try and take a picture with him does he want to throw what he knows?
6. You made him a fake Twitter because he says the darndest things.
I mean making people laugh is the best thing you can do in life right? Does your Dad have "-isms" that make people laugh, like really laugh? Does your Dad make comments that no one else would think of?
7. He never runs out of stories from his childhood.
Does your Dad always tell stories? Like a new one every time? That are really interesting, like when he drove his car into a building?
8. But most importantly, he supports you no matter what.
Was your Dad at (almost) every sporting event, contest, or milestone in your life. Does he do whatever he has to do to help you out? And spoils you hard-core sometimes?
If you still can't tell if he is, then think about this: If all of your friends can never stop talking about how much they love your dad (in a non-creepy way) then you have a cool Dad. And you should be thankful because some people just aren't as #blessed as us.
Shoutout to Clark for being the coolest Dad out there!
