You can't rush good things

Patience is key to life.

You can go full force to life but some things take time and waiting. Those things cannot be rushed. With that being said it makes it feel like time drags on when it really doesn't.

If something does happen and it feels like it is slowing you down then maybe that is a good thing. It means there is something good to come. It's like baking a cake. you rush through the process of getting the batter together then you have to pop it in the oven.

Time slows down when you put in the oven right? You are so eager to eat the cake but it still is not done. When it is finally done you are happy and get to eat it.

Patience is key.

Stressed with work, school, or kids? Take a few deep breaths and breath. Everything will be fine. It takes patience to work with others no matter how bad you want to smash a head into a wall you have to be understanding. Things may not be so great for others.

Over time we see that patience is starting to wear down and we are getting more and more irritable with every little thing around us. No one is stopping and letting anything good happen.

Good things come with time. Nothing good comes from things that are rushed. Most rushed things are sloppy. It's time we all stopped and took time to smell the roses.

Because the most rushed thing is life and it seems like we all wanna grow up way to fast. Growing up too fast can be good or bad depending on how patience a person is.

You cannot rush into life with low patience and expect a good outcome. It can sometimes make situations worse than they are. Someone who goes into life with patience may see a better outcome with different aspects of life. Like a promotion, those things take time to achieve. You cannot just go into a place to get a job and expect to get a certain title. You have to earn it.

You earn it by working your way up. That is patience. Working for something without rushing to get it done.

Everything in life requires patience.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
