Normally a topic under large amounts of controversy is the substance called, "Marijuana." What it normally comes down to is whether it is good to smoke it or not, how it can be administered properly, and what impact does it have in some cultures? While all these are very interesting points to get into there are still some things that people have overlooked when dealing with Marijuana. Now most of this, unfortunately, is due to an increasing amount of ignorance because normally when on the subject of marijuana many people go straight to the default in that it is solely used for smoking to get high. This, however, is not the only solid use for a substance of this caliber. Marijuana has had an impact in a variety of different ways some that may prove to be more practical than smoking. As time continues on this will inevitably become a necessity that people from all social classes will take part in. In doing so it is of the utmost importance to know the other specific uses this weed has.

Now, when talking about marijuana there is a misconception that some people tend to forget. For example, Marijuana is categorized within in a multitude of different types of cannabis plants. One of which is a very strong and durable weed that can be manufactured into paper that can be written on. This type of plant and how it was made was discovered several years ago by farmers. So far the smallest hint of this still being used to today is found in dollar bills and even checks. The mere thought of this being a substitute for normal paper would have a marvelous impact on generations for a lifetime. Especially, considering that this plant just like all the other types can be grown grown at a rapid pace, so there is loads of it to be used up and solidified into paper that we can write on. In the long run, we would see a drastic change with deforestation going down and giving the environment the chance to grow again.

When often excreting oils out of the plant it results in a unique new way to combat certain ailments that people tend to go through time to time. One fine example has been demonstrated when applying this to patients who suffer from having seizures. Once the oil was applied to an individual going through a seizure they immediately began to calm themselves and relax. Giving the individual a state of balance once again. Another use has been shown to change the habits of bees when looking to collect pollen for their honeycombs. A beehive owner once had his bees sprayed with smoke from marijuana that he also grew. The owner was surprised to find that later on after extracting the honey from his beehive, the bees went out and sought out cannabis plants pollen in a change of habit of being exposed to the smoke they were being subjected to. Which in turn made a new marijuana honey. Now, that farmer/beehive owner is making money off his sweet new marijuana honey.

Another prime example, is in another solution known as "hemp" which was a special grown form of the cannabis plant that has been used to make rope. It was absolutely necessary to grow hemp for many boats and docks. This can be seen dated back as far back to when King Henry VIII issued a royal edict stating that farmers needed to focus their efforts now towards the growing of hemp. The main thing take away from this though wasn't just that the plant could be used to make rope, but that it gave many people the chance to gain citizenship if they were willing to grow cannabis. This drove many people from regions all across the map to grow cannabis. It supported the king and in turn the farmers were paid handsomely for their efforts.

I am skeptical on marijuana being a legal substance but I am however willing to look at other ways to use Marijuana so that it may reach other needs.
