JAMBO! Welcome home. You're officially a back home baller. With that said, coming home from college for a holiday season is filled with a surplus of pro's that weigh out all the cons. Once you get past the awkward, "What are you doing with life?" on repeat at family parties, you enter a world completely foreign and equally as amazing. It's almost like you left and your parents transformed into Regina George's mom 24/7. Happy hour from 4-6? Count me in. The following are the nine truest statements about your parents during holiday breaks.
1. You return home and somehow your parents stress level went down to a negative five
2. They’ll offer to get or make any of your favorite meals (C’mon, you’re only home for a limited period of time)
3. They want to hear about E V E R Y T H I N G
4. They’re more understanding. Ride home from sketchy party? They somehow get it unlike last year when you were grounded for a month for being responsible and calling them
5. The compliments are endless
6. They insist on treating you to your list of necessities before you go back to school
7. Their advice is still somewhat notable
8. There will be a lot of crying at your departure
9. But, they’re still your parents. Typical behavior should be expected
