5. Devine's Corn Maze
Located in Harrodsburg of central Kentucky, Devine's Corn Maze is for the whole family. It has three levels of a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, hay ride, and a zip line.
4. Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
Located in Harrodsburg also, Shaker Village has something for everyone. Between the hiking trails, horse stable, and beautiful, historic village, Shaker Town is an interesting place to visit. One amazing spot that is a must-see if you can find it is a secluded waterfall called Fulling Mill on the hiking trails near the horse stable, connected to Shawnee Run Creek.
3. The Pinnacles
Located in Berea of eastern Kentucky, the Pinnacles contains beautiful views with multiple hiking trails. The most popular trails are the East and West Pinnacle, which overlooks Berea. With beautiful rock formations and dense trees, this spot would be beautiful in the fall.
2. Mammoth Cave
Located just of Bowling Green in western Kentucky, Mammoth Cave is the longest cave system in the world. It is one of the seven natural wonders of the United States. It has unique rock formations that can be seen from an underground boat tour. It is also supposedly haunted, if that's your thing.
1. Red River Gorge
Located in Stanton of east-central Kentucky, Red River Gorge is home to some of the most breathtaking views in the state. Red River Gorge is the perfect place to hike with popular spots such as Natural Bridge. It also includes a reptile zoo, trail rides, and a zip line. Many tourists also visit Miguel's Pizza after a hike!
