The Importance of Pumpkin Flavored Anything

We are now well into November, which means full-time pumpkin season. Some people have tried to argue against the pumpkin frenzy that pops up earlier and earlier each September, but it will withstand all criticism. Pumpkin flavored desserts, drinks, scented candles, room spray, and even shampoo have all become novelty staples of the fall season and these are just a few.

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte

My personal favorite pumpkin flavored treat; this pumpkin coffee takes Starbucks by storm every season causing major lines on its first day back. I like my drink iced, even if this does induce ridicule from my friends and classmates. The PSL is creamy, cinnamony, and oh so delicious.

2. Pumpkin Spice Granola

An addition that has only recently been added to my favorites list. This nut grain granola covered in pumpkin spice flavor is amazing sprinkled over some vanilla yogurt in the morning. It's even good on the go; when you're craving pumpkin spice, but need a quick way to get it.

3. Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream

Yes! This exists and it is as amazing as it sounds. Basically, you get to enjoy the cold inside of pumpkin pie while enjoying the texture and temperature of ice cream. Some might say, the best of both worlds.

4. Pumpkin Spice Cereal

Who wouldn't want to start the day with some cinnamon pumpkin goodness? This amazing little breakfast treat is available in all different cereal brands; Cheerios, Life, and even Chex Mix.

5. Pumpkin Muffin

Another fan favorite of mine is the pumpkin muffin. When made correctly this warm, moist pumpkin cake is just amazing. Topped with some cinnamon sugar and you truly can't go wrong.

6. Pumpkin Chips

A savory option for all of the salty fans. These chips were recently introduced to me and I can for sure say they quickly made my favorites list. The look like corn tortilla chips, but taste like a savory pumpkin crisp.

7. Pumpkin Spice Oreos

Now sometimes Oreo can take the holiday themed cookies a little too far and end up ruining a classic flavor, but not with these cookies. With a pumpkin spice cream in between two cinnamon cookies, they really nailed it this time.

8. Pumpkin Spice Kettle Corn

Kettle corn alone is a masterpiece, but match it with the beauty of pumpkin spice and now you have an unbeatable flavor combination. This sweet popcorn melts in your mouth to revel some hidden pumpkin flavor.

9. Pumpkin Spice Bagel

Another new addition to my list, these warm, toasted bagels that have a cinnamon like taste, surprise you with a sweet pumpkin taste once you bite in!
