I'm So Sick Of Hearing "But Hillary Is A Liar"

The whole election season has been a roller coaster of constant "you have to be kidding me moments", and everyone knows that. Now recognizing the election hasn't been a perfect or at all an ideal one, it is time to look at the real importance of it: the vote. While being a little bias being a politics fanatic, when I listen to others arguments on who they're voting for, I'm always astonished when someone says "Trump." Maybe it's because in this election season I overestimated the intelligence and underestimated the ignorance of the people, either way I still don't get it.

You can simply look at our two choices, we have one who has excessive experience in government and politics, and another who has only experience in business. But the one who isn't a politician (whoop whoop right?) has blatantly and publicly been not only racist and sexist, but has shown an obvious sign of no qualification to be our commander in chief. The seemingly great thing to be about this so called non-politician big businessman who can do greats for our country is, he isn't Hillary Clinton. I feel as many people don't know have much knowledge on the things they use against her. Its almost as if the assortment of phrases to go against her are like the status quo, Benghazi, email scandal, and so on. But what happened to moral standards, or ethical qualification? What happened to realizing that most all of our politicians in government already aren't perfect, but shouldn't we have someone leading our country who isn't looked at as a joke? I hate when people overlook Trumps bigotry and plain out sexual misconduct with "well his isn't a liar like Hillary" or "He's good with business he can do a lot of good for the economy." The ignorance of how it all sounds. Donald Trump is the first candidate in the history of the United States to not release his tax returns. But that isn't fishy? Or what about the fact that he is been in numerous lawsuits? He has had several sexual allegations towards him but he isn't a liar so its OK. Trump has made statements ad then immediately reverted what he had said. I don't know if it's the wealth and the way he presents himself that attracts people so much. I don't know it's the way he knows how to talk a bunch of bulls**t that happens to have has no sense of depth of included in it.

But all I know is that I think I can get over an email scandal and some hiccups in someones political career rather than being stuck with a racist bigot who had no idea what the average american needs. Stop saying "but Hillary is a liar", your argument is invalid and doesn't compare to the severity of the topic. If you're okay with electing someone who is outright morally wrong and doesn't care for the majority of people in this country so be it. But just hopefully realize the ignorance and arrogance in that view. on November 8, 2016 the country will change forever, remember what one vote can do and how significant it is to go out there and do it. Remember what america is capable of being, and realize who has the best judgement of that.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
