It's 2016 and Netflix pretty much runs the world at this point. Every so often, we find a TV character that we just connect with. We spend so much time watching these characters living their lives. Have you ever stopped to think about where they'd be if they went Greek?

Monica Geller, "Friends" – Alpha Chi Omega

Like most Alpha Chis, Monica is dedicated, hardworking and a loyal friend. She might be a little neurotic sometimes, but she can also be counted on to give you a good laugh every now and again.

Rachel Greene, "Friends" – Alpha Delta Pi

Rachel is the perfect sorority girl, so it's no surprise that she'd end up in the world's first ever sorority, ADPi! Just like their mascot, the lion, Rachel perfectly demonstrates beauty and strength. Rachel is a strong, independent woman, as well as an incredible friend.

Rory Gilmore, "Gilmore Girls" – Alpha Gamma Delta

Like most Alpha Gams, Rory Gilmore is about as sweet as they come. She's also very intelligent, and extremely dedicated to her school work. Rory might be a total rule-follower, but she's also known for being quick-witted and a very dedicated friend.

Pam Beasley, "The Office" – Alpha Omicron Pi

Pam Beasley is totally the "girl-next-door" that everybody can't help but love. like an AOII, Pam is kind, smart and completely hilarious. She's always downfall a little bit of mischief, but she's also the perfect person to go to if you need some advice. Like AOII's mascot, the panda, Pam really doesn't have any enemies, and it's pretty hard not to like her. It's no wonder that she ended up with the most perfect man in television history.

Robin Sherbatski, "How I Met Your Mother" – Alpha Xi Delta

Like most AXiD's, Robin is completely down to earth, and a blast to be around. She can hold her own in any given situation, and she doesn't let anybody stand between her and her dreams. Robin is known for her beauty, her corny sense of humor, and her fierce independence. Like a true Alpha Xi Delta woman, Robin not only works hard to achieve her dreams, but she also knows how to kick back and have a good time.

Addison Montgomery, "Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice" – Chi Omega

Like a true Chi Omega, Addison is successful, confident, and a true original. She goes after what she wants, and she always looks good doing it. No matter what trials come her way, she always comes out the other side stronger because of it. Like Chi O's mascot, the owl, Addison has an abundance of wisdom.

Ann Perkins, "Parks and Rec" – Delta Delta Delta

Like most Tri-Delts, Ann Perkins is about as likable as they come. She's self-sufficient and great at overcoming adversity. Even adversity in the form of her man-child ex-boyfriends living in that pit outside of her house. Like Tri-Delt's mascot, the dolphin, Ann Perkins truly is a "beautiful, tropical fish."

Donna Pinciatti, "That 70's Show" – Delta Gamma

Like most DGs, Donna is totally the type of girl anyone would be down to hang with. She's strong-willed and she doesn't let anyone push her around. She's easy going with a great sense of humor, and she's always ready for an adventure. As the anchor of her friend group, Donna is smart, funny, confident and the perfect DG sister.

Leslie Knope, "Parks and Rec" – Delta Zeta

Like Most DZ's Leslie Knope is extremely dedicated and extremely competitive. Her dreams are almost as big as her personality, and she's always good for a laugh or two. Leslie Knope is not only a complete go-getter, but she's also one of the most loyal friends you will ever meet.

Samantha Jones, "Sex and The City" – Gamma Phi Beta

Samantha is gorgeous, and she knows it. She knows exactly how to get what she wants from life, and like a true Gamma Phi, she's not afraid to be herself. She may be a shameless flirt, but deep down Samantha is a total sweetheart.

Phoebe Buffay, "Friends" – Kappa Alpha Theta

Phoebe marches to the beat of her own drum. Like any Theta, she isn't afraid to truly be herself. She might be a little quirky, but she's also hilarious. Phoebe has overcome countless obstacles in life, all the while keeping her positive attitude and her creative spirit!

Carrie Bradshaw, "Sex and the City" – Kappa Delta

Carrie Bradshaw is the girl little girls dream of being when they grow up. A successful writer living in NYC, Carrie appears to be living the dream. Like any KD, Carrie is talented, fabulous, and a truly wonderful friend.

Jessica Day, "New Girl" – Kappa Kappa Gamma

Jess would be a Kappa because of her drive, her intelligence, and her "adorkable" sense of humor. Jess is easily one of the cutest girls on TV, and it's hard not to admire her positive attitude. Just like Kappa's love their philanthropy, Reading Is Fundamental, Jess loves her job as a Middle School teacher. Jess is perky, innocent and totally lovable.

Serena Van der Woodsen, "Gossip Girl" – Phi Mu

Was there ever a more perfect blonde than Serena Van der Woodsen? Like most Phi Mus, Serena is known for her beauty, but underneath it all, she's got a killer personality. Although Serena has gotten herself in lots of trouble in the past, she isn't afraid of a little hard work to get the things she wants out of life. Her smile can light up any room, and she always knows how to have a good time.

Meredith Grey, "Grey's Anatomy" – Pi Beta Phi

Meredith Grey is not your typical sorority girl. Like most Pi Phis, Meredith is tough, and she knows how to take care of herself. She might think that she's "dark and twisty," but Meredith is extremely protective and loyal to the people she loves most.

Mindy Lahiri, "The Mindy Project" – Sigma Kappa

Mindy would be a Sigma Kappa, because of her bubbly attitude and her hard working spirit. As a successful OB/GYN, looking for love in the big city, Mindy might occasionally get herself in a sticky situation, but she always comes out on top due to her resourcefulness and her charm.

Penny, "The Big Bang Theory" – Zeta Tau Alpha

Like most Zeta's, Penny is a total blast to be around! Penny doesn't take crap from anyone, as she works hard to pursue her dream as an actress. She might seem like the stereotypically-hot blonde, but deep down, Penny has a heart of gold.

April Ludgate, "Parks and Recreation" – Independent

April Ludgate is the girl who makes fun of all the typical sorority girls out there. She's different and sometimes a little scary. April is the type of girl who wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with a bunch of sorority girls... unless of course it was to make fun of them. She prides herself on being against all things cheerful, but deep down we all know April is a sweetheart.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
