If you're reading this, you are wonderful. You truly are. And in case no one has told you lately, you matter. You have a purpose, you are beautiful, and you make a difference. Each and every one of us has impacted someone's life for the better whether or not we realize it. If you weren't here, someone somewhere would be left with an unimaginably large void in their life. So even when it feels like you mean nothing to the world, you mean the world to someone.
At times, you can get so wrapped up in taking care of others and their needs that you forget to take care of yourself, and that is vastly unfair. The most important relationship you will ever have is the relationship you have with your true self. That's the harsh reality of life; at the end of the day, it's just you. And I get it, it is hard to take care of yourself because there is a sense of guilt that comes with it. You feel that your time is better spent helping someone else than it is helping yourself. The problem with that way of thinking is that you cannot take care of anyone else until you start to take care of yourself. And that is ok. It is ok to put your emotions first. It is ok to love yourself more. It is ok just to be ok.
I believe wholeheartedly in the fact that women should uplift other women instead of tearing them down. So, if you are reading this, pass this message along. Make sure everyone that you come in contact with knows that they matter. Make sure that you are never the reason someone begins to doubt their importance as a member of the hman race.
Just think, if we were all a little kinder, a little more empathetic, and a little more understanding, the world would be a more positive place to be.
