If I wrote you a love letter when I first saw you, 10 months ago, it would say:

“Hello,

I saw you sitting just two seats down from me.

You're very handsome.

Do you want to be friends?”

If I wrote you a love letter when I first met you, 9 months ago, it would say:

“Hey there,

Even though I guessed you were 25… I knew you were a little older than that. I just couldn't get enough of that smile of yours. Do you maybe want to grab a bite to eat?

Ps: I think you look really cute in that yellow cardigan.”

If I wrote you a letter when I realized I liked you a lot, it would say:

“Hi,

I like you a lot and I could've talked to you another four hours last night.

Do you think we can maybe do it again tonight? I’m sorry I hung up on accident. I promise I won't do it again. Second rudest thing I've ever done to you!

Ps: See you in a “month.”

If I wrote you a love letter the first time we kissed, it would say:

“Hey,

You caught me by surprise with that kiss. You make me so nervous, and so excited at the same time.

Will you kiss me again?”

If I wrote you a love letter after our first fight, it would say:

“Buddy,

I’m sorry I'm so stubborn. I love you.”

If I wrote you a love letter when we broke up, it would say:

“Hello,

I’m not sure I agree… but if that’s what you want i’ll try to understand. I've never heard silence quite this loud.

I wish things were different. I’ll always be here for you."

If I wrote you a love letter while I was in Dallas, it would say:

"I wish we had never met.

Will you tell me you love me? I’m not sure I can make it through the week without you.”

If I wrote you a love letter when we reconnected after I came home, It would say:

“Hey,

Thanks so much for lunch. You look really tired. Do you need me to scratch your arms or rub your back? I know it helps. Oh I’m sorry… I probably shouldn’t have said that.

Your smile is still infectious.”

If I wrote you a love letter when you told me you loved me, it would say:

“Hey,

I hope you’ll remember this in the morning, but the feeling is mutual. I love you too.You motivate me every day to be better and to strive for my dreams. You are so much a part of that dream. Come with me wherever I go? Don't be scared… I’ll take care of you.”

If I wrote you a love letter today, it would say:

“Hi,

Stop sleeping on my side of the bed.

Just kidding, get back over here.

I have to go, but I’ll be back. Do you think we can maybe try and be us again? Talk soon?”

Ps: Don't watch that show without me!

Our story sounds complicated... but it's my favorite one to tell.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
