How You Know You Really Are The Grinch

I seriously relate to him way too much.

How You Know You Really Are The Grinch

I'm sure everyone has heard of the Grinch. He is the green, angry dude from How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and Jim Carrey played him in the real life version. Growing up, I feel like we were taught to dislike the Grinch. I mean, he hated Christmas! How could someone hate Christmas?! However, now that I have grown up and looked back at the movie, I have realized something.

I am the Grinch.

And no, not as in I hate Christmas.

Looking back at any children's movie, you suddenly understand all the connotations and bad jokes. You can finally relate. This is how I realized I literally am the Grinch. He is basically my aesthetic. By looking at this, you may suddenly realize that you too seriously relate to the Grinch.

You love Christmas music, but also hate it.

When you don't get invited to something so you just make up an excuse for why you don't want/couldn't go anyway.

When you would rather be alone than going out, so you come up with random excuses.

When you are iffy about going out so you blame it on your clothing.

When you start to develop a crush.

When you tell someone who is being annoying to shut up and they continue to bother you.

Your definition of a workout.

When you get broken up with or just hate certain things that happened.

When you get a cute new outfit and do a fashion show for your family.

When your crush is going to a party so you decide to go out for once.

When you get an outfit that shows off your curves.

When you're pissed and just want to do this.

When your mom tells you to ask your friends to hang out but looking through your contacts you realize you don't have friends/ hate everyone.

When you ask yourself this question daily.

When you get your picture taken and feel like a model.

When you really don't want to go out/ actually do this.

When your mom tells you to smile for the picture.

When your crush actually likes you back.

When you realize who you really are.

When something doesn't fit so you make up an excuse.

When you are having a bad day and ask for something and you get a "no."

When this is a daily task for you.

When you are so frustrated you literally just flail around.

When you realize Christmas is coming soon.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
