How To Write A Viral Article

I recently wrote an article about travel soccer that went viral. When I sat down to write this article, I knew people would enjoy reading this because I knew myself and others would be able to relate to this topic. There were many memories of travel soccer that came to mind when I started writing, but I tried to capture the moments that were similar to other people's experiences.

Everyone loves to read articles in their spare time, but not many people take the time to sit down and really think about what goes into writing the perfect article. Not everyone is able to master this skill and it takes a lot of brain power to come up with an intriguing topic to write about. Below are some tips on how to write a great article.

Make it relatable.

If you write about a topic that very few people know about, it is likely that not many people will enjoy reading your article. When writing a article it is important to think about your audience and what they would find interesting to read. If you were to write about why you love a specific restaurant in your area, not many people would find it engaging.

Make it funny.

In addition to making sure the article is relatable, it should also important for it to be funny. People love to laugh and if they realize that you are consistently writing funny articles, they will want to keep reading your posts. Making your article comical is one of the key elements to writing a successful piece.

Make it short and to the point.

Your article should be short and sweet. If you write an article that drags on, people will get bored of reading it very quickly and not recommend it to their friends and family. Nowadays people can not stay focused on many things for a long period of time, so if you want to keep your reader's attention for the entire article it is best to keep it short and to the point.

Add pictures.

Have you ever heard of the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words?” Well, this saying relates directing to writing. Instead of writing a thousand words, you simply just write a funny caption and add a picture that supports the point you are trying to get across. People would much rather look at pictures than read through a paragraph that is saying the same thing.

Write an intriguing title.

There are so many different types of articles out there, so in order to get people to choose to read your article, it is essential to come up with an intriguing title to pull in the viewers.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
