You know what I dread the most about the holidays? All of the questions and comments I receive from my extended family. As much as I love my relatives, I get a bit annoyed with some of the inquisitions and remarks. Luckily, I have watched "The Office," so I now have a few new responses up my sleeve for when the inevitable poking and prodding begins. With any luck at all, they will avoid you with all they have.
"Wow! You sure have grown! How old are you now?"
"So, have you got yourself a significant other yet?"
"Oh, hey! How did finals go?"
"Come here and let me see your pretty face!"
"I overheard your mom saying that you are going to...."
"I don't even remember half of college, if you know what I mean."
"Come give me a hug!"
"I look forward to seeing you at the next family get together!"
Happy Holidays, folks. And remember, every family has a weirdo. With these responses, you will likely become the weirdo of yours.
