Lipstick.

It's classic. It's gorgeous. It takes up an entire cabinet in my room.

Finding the perfect shade of lipstick is like finding the perfect man. It should make you feel pretty, brighten your day, feel good on your lips, and leave you feeling fulfilled.

For me, that shade is Russian Red from MAC. It's a deep red matte lipstick that would rival the red lip of Taylor Swift. When I wear that I feel like Cat Woman: unstoppable, unpredictable, and ready to kick some serious ass with a smile and a wink.

Everyone should feel like Cat Woman (or maybe you're more Jackie O) everyday. And I'm here to help you find that inner goddess via decorative lip wear.


If You're Feeling like Natalie Portman...

Then maybe a nude lip is the way to go. A nude lip says hey...I'm cute, I'm fun, I'm smart, I'm sexy, and I don't need a lot to show it. A nude lip is a very subtle confidence that will help you take on your day- whether you're a galactic queen or a NYC ballerina or a revolutionary. *If you haven't seen Star Wars, Black Swan, or V for Vendetta you totally should.


If You're Feeling like Nicki Minaj...

Bubble. Gum. Pink. Why? You're a show stopper. You know what you want, you know how to get it, and you're going to look damn fine while you do it. There isn't anything understated about you. You put it all out there because you like what you bring to the table. So work that lipstick, you know it ain't gonna work you.


If You're Feeling like Emma Watson...

Go go Gryffindor and go go berry lips! Do you have a summit meeting at the UN? Then do you have a movie screening? And then do you have an interview? You're a woman with many responsibilities and you want to look fresh, polished, professional, and fierce at each function. A berry lip is the perfect way to say hey- I'm fabulous, but I'm also driven and successful.


If you're feeling like Sophia Vergara...

You're bubbly. You're classy. Go red. You know how to have fun and how to have a care free time, but getting down to business is what you do best. Slide on that red lipstick and be ready to take the world by storm.


So, no matter what shade you decide to wear, the important thing isn't feeling like a celebrity, it's about feeling like YOU. Lipstick is just a simple way to remind yourself that you are a smart, driven, funny, classy, go getting girl. Because underneath it, that's exactly who you are.
