Everyone has that one friend that is the center of attention, that one who can lead in any situation. What makes her different from everyone else? How can I be like her? How can I be like him? While these questions circulate in the thoughts of many guys and girls, mostly because we all face internal and external insecurities, I have interviewed three Instagram models and influencers to relay their tips and tricks on how they have overcome these factors and embraced their true selves despite comparison. They all have similar messages, and are the "ideal" Alpha male/female that many people look up to. With this being said, the following guidelines are to not only encourage confidence, but to help individuals who are constantly being the sidekick in their friendships and relationships to start taking the lead.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
