Dear Srinidhi and Simrit,

It's almost the end of February now. That means it's almost been 8 months since we started our HOSA campaign Power In Purple. We have come an extremely long way from where we initially started. I remember when we first decided to start Power In Purple over the summer and how excited we got when we first created our website and Instagram page. Now, we have people from various schools who know what our campaign is.

Even though this started out as our event for HOSA, you guys have helped me to not only grow as a better person, but also a better leader.

It takes a lot of courage and patience to be able to plan and execute all of the events we three ere able to do with minimal help. We have grown so passionate over the past eight months about spreading awareness for Alzheimer's that it's become a part of us now. We have put everything into our campaign and I wouldn't want to do this with anyone but you guys. This year, we were able to grow so much more closer through our efforts together.

Even though I've known you guys for many, many years now, I feel like this HOSA project has created an everlasting impact on us and our friendship. Throughout the entire year, you guys have been constantly motivating me and we have pulled off so many things that I don't think I ever saw myself doing. We turned our "what ifs" into "what's next." We have learned so many things from each other and you guys have pushed me to do better and improve myself.

There are no better two people that I could learn these things from. Thank you for always sticking by my side even at the most stressed times. From presentations to auditions to interviews, we have pretty much done everything together.

Finally, thank you for making our campaign into what it is today. From what started out as something we came up sitting in Srinidhi's room, to leaving a huge impact on people we never even knew before, we have truly been able to do something I didn't think was possible.

Lots of love,

Srihitha

Superman and Batman have nothing on being invisible with their superhero abilities. Here are some things that you could do while being invisible, because being invisible can benefit your social life too.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
