The best time of the year

Holiday Cheer Is Almost Here
Wall Paper Safari

Well, now Thanksgiving break is here and all of us students are beyond thrilled to eat our favorite dishes that Mom cooks. Not even that, but now we can finally sleep for more than 5 hours a night and don't have to spend half the night studying our lives away. We get to spend time with our families and our best friends from our hometown for the first time since August. All of us know this break is going to go by too quickly and before we know it we're gonna be back to pulling those all nighters and living on caffeine.

Although this is all true, after Thanksgiving break we only have about 3 weeks until the best time of the year arrives. CHRISTMAS.

Christmas is not only the best holiday of the year, but definitely just the best time of the year as well. The first day of December is the start of happy spirits and good vibes for sure. About a week later many of us students will be stressing over final exams and what not, but still the whole month of December is happiness for everyone.

So, everyone has just got to try and hang in there. This is a stressful time for all of us because even though we have a break from school, we are constantly thinking about the school work we should be doing and we just can't help it.

The holiday season is finally here and all we want to do is eat Christmas cookies, open presents, and hangout by the fire place. Pretty soon we will all be able to do this, we just have to get through the rest of the semester which all we can.

All of our college friends are in the same boat, so we can celebrate the holiday cheer with them as well. While studying for finals everyone should take some time to enjoy December and the holiday cheer. Make holiday cookies with your roommates. Do a secret santa with your girlfriends. We can all find some fun in the midst of the very awful end of semester work.

It's just a reminder to enjoy the breaks and times with friends and family at home. We will all get through finals and will still enjoy the holidays.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
