Hillary or Trump: Who will make America great again?
The Daily Beast

She sent and received classified emails from her personal account. He filed for bankruptcy multiple times. She helped spearhead a better healthcare system across the board. He created the Grand Hyatt and the Trump organization. It seems they both have accumulated mistakes and accomplishments. But who is actually best to fill the presidency?

Hillary has much experience in the field of politics; but it seems the American people are crying for change and honesty. Trump is a successful businessman; but people are afraid of his apparent bigotry and desire a more qualified candidate. No matter what your personal views are on social and economic issues, neither quite fits the bill for the ideal candidate. So who is going to fix America?

I am here to tell you that neither, yes neither, will fix America. The president has power, but it is the power of the people that instigates change. The future of America starts with us. We are the ones who work, the ones who enjoy the social programs, the ones whose voices decide policy. If we want America to be great, if we desire to keep America great, we must take the initiative ourselves.

I believe the future starts with us. It starts in our families, encouraging healthy lifestyles, teaching ethics, and instilling the values of honesty and hard work. And beyond that, it is about what we go above and beyond to do. It is about how we make our voice heard.

I want poverty to be eliminated in America; so I go serve at a free used clothing and houseware store, because that is what I can do. My mother desires to help the persecuted in the Middle East; so she donates money to charities that send aid. Maybe you want small businesses to experience greater freedom or taxes to change; you can email your representative or become a delegate for your county. If I can tell you one thing to give you hope, it is that it starts with you. There is no end to the possibilities of how we can keep America great.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
