When you are dating someone you may think that you guys are in love and that he is "the one," but sometimes that's not always the case.
Sometimes when you are in a relationship you are so blinded by what you think is love that you miss some very important red flags that could let you know that he is not the one for you.
So, here are 9 signs to help you know that he is not the one for you:
1. You don’t trust him/he doesn’t trust you
If he has given you a reason not to trust him then that is defiantly a sign that he may not be the one for you and you should try and have to have a talk with him about that.
If he hasn't given you any reason though, then maybe you need to take a step back and ask your self why you don't because it could mean that you have an underlying feeling that he isn't the one.
If you don't have trust in a relationship then you don't have anything.
2. He gets jealous too easily
Jealousy can be cute in small doses, but there is a clear line between jealousy and controlling behavior.
If won't let you talk to any other guy but him then that kind of behavior cannot continue. It is controlling and obsessive behavior.
Again, trust is the key here, as he should trust you enough to know that you are loyal to him and him only. So, if you haven't given him any reason for him to get super jealous, then cut that boy off.
3. He lies to you
If you have caught him lying to you about things, then that is a clear red flag. Even if it just a small lie, like about who he's texting. Things will only get worse from there. The next thing you know, he will be lying about where he is and who he is with.
Don't be afraid to confront his lies and leave him if he doesn't have the courage to be a man and tell you the truth.
Real love is not built off of lies.
4. He doesn’t ever want to do things that you want to do
Have you ever wanted to do something like watch a girly movie but he said no way?
If so, then he may not be the one.
Your man should put in an effort to do things that you like too if you are trying to show interest in what he likes too. If you try video games or watching football for him, then he can at least try and watch Titanic with you
No one ever said love was easy, but it can be a lot easier if you both compromise on things.
You shouldn't feel like you have to force him to watch it though. He should want to do it because he cares about you and what you like.
5. He doesn’t care about your feelings
If he doesn't care if you are sad or angry then you need to dump him ASAP because as your boyfriend that should be one of his priorities.
I'm not saying that he should tend to your every little need, but he should offer him self up as a shoulder to cry on or someone to listen to you.
6. He doesn’t show you off
If he doesn't act proud to have you as his girlfriend and doesn't care about letting people know that you're his then that may mean that he's not the one.
He may not be the kind of guy who posts much or who is into mushy stuff, but he should at least be proud to have you as his.
You deserve someone who will show you off on the 'Gram and who will hold your hand proudly. We all know that girls like it when their man posts something about them.
7. You guys fight all of the time
It is totally normal and healthy to disagree and have little arguments from time to time, but if you guys are fighting the majority of the time then you may need to reevaluate your relationship.
8. Your friends don’t like him
If your friends don't like them, they probably have a reason why.
Listen to their advice because at the end of the day they will always be there for you and looking out for your best interest.
9. He’s never gone out of his way to make you happy
If he has never done anything special to make you smile or tried to make you feel like his princess then forget him.
He doesn't need to give you a dozen roses every day and have an orchestra for you, but he should at least try and make you feel special because every girl deserves that!
