Another year has come and gone in a blink of an eye. This year has brought new adventures along with new friends and better relationships. On top of all these things, 2015 has created memories that go down in the books to remember for years to come.
Every time Jan.1 approaches, people reflect on the last year. You look at what you have gained, what you have lost and what you have yet still to accomplish. Finally, you wonder what the future has to offer. Everyone looks at the new year with wide eyes hoping that it will bring them a better 365 days than the last 12 months, or a year that is just as good or better than the last. With a fresh start, people make resolutions to lose weight, be a better person or whatever they can think of to start their year off right.
Rather than making these silly resolutions that many rarely follow through with, we should instead strive to live life to the fullest. Every person should learn to love him or herself better than the last year, and be confident and comfortable with whom they are as individuals. There is no one quite like you, and you need to remember this. Also, tell everyone you love that you love them, remind them how thankful you are of their love and support.
So to 2016, I am excited to welcome you with open arms. I am excited to see where you take me in this crazy roller coaster called life. I am excited to grow as a person and to take on all the new challenges you have to offer. We should all use this new year to learn more about ourselves and love ourselves better than we have before. It is time to think about our future and what you plan to do in the next 365 days to make a difference.
Here’s to the 2015 being great and 2016 being even better. I hope everyone finds a time of happiness within the year, whether it be all year long or just within a few moments. Remember what is important to you and don't sweat the small stuff. Most of all, let 2016 lead your life in the direction you want to go and stay motivated.
Cheers!
