5 Ways To Know If He's In Love

It's hard nowadays to know how a guy really feels about you. I mean, social media has made us all so available to each other, as well as keeping us in the know about every detail of our love interests' lives, from whose pics they like, to where they were last Saturday night. It's hard to know if he "likes" you, is just "hanging out" with you and flirting with you, or really "loves" you. How do you set aside the small things that do not matter, to see the clear picture of how he really feels?

Let's be honest, ladies, we flirt and offer compliments to guys we have no real interest in. We also date, and even make out with guys we know we would never fall in love with, that being said, how do we know when we are in love? what signs do we show?... The same ones they do! I've examined the history of my own love life to look for all the signs, or even lack thereof. As I sat back and pondered these thoughts, I came to the final conclusions on the five ways to know if a guy is really in love.

1. He's an open book!

He never seems to fret about his phone, or calls you randomly just to let you know where he'll be or what he's doing. This is a big sign that he is into only you, and is in love. It shows you are on his mind enough for him to want to tell you what he's doing, and it also shows his comfort level with you as well. If he makes it a priority to respond to your calls and messages, then he obviously cares for you more than just a "chill" thing.

2. He puts up with your friends.

Even when he just wants you! If he's able to entertain the company of your friends, he is most likely being patient, and willing to be around your friends, just to be able to spend time with you.

3. He shows PDA.

Public Displays of Affection is a sure fire way to know the man you're with is in love with you. Not being afraid to show your affection to someone in public says a lot, Most the time when you can't help but to reach out for someone, it comes naturally, and it is a significant sign of love.

4. He talks about the future and includes you in it.

It's been my experience that you can always tell a guy's motives by how he speaks about the future. He doesn't need to necessarily be speaking in terms of marriage and babies, however, if he talks about life after graduation, and you are not in the picture, he may not be feeling that "love" thing so strong. It's been my experience that when a man is in love, you are in his future plans, and thoughts.

5. He thinks about you so often that all the songs he hears bring him back to you!

When he calls, texts or shows up at your doorstep in the middle of the night just to tell you exactly what song made him think of you, he's in love. When a guy can't stop thinking about you, so much so that his whole playlist affords him some meaning of you, or your relationship, it's serious! The heart is moved by music, and the heart wants what it wants, right?! That being said, when music is the beautiful way he expresses or feels his emotions for you, it's safe to say it.... "he loves me, he really, really loves me!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
