1. They were your first friends

From the day you were born they were there for you and have been ever since.

2. You grew up together

You've been through it all together. From the annoying middle school stage, to awkward middle school up until now. They've stuck with you during it all (mainly because they had no choice)

3. Family outings are always fun

You always find a way to make those boring family outings somewhat enjoyable. When it comes to my cousins and me, we have to do this while trying to not get in trouble along the way.

4. There's no such thing as a "dreaded trip to grandmas"

You always hear friends complaining that they have to spend the day at their Grandparents house, but thats probably because they don't have great cousins like you. Spending the day at your grandparents usually means good food and getting to see your cousins.

5. You're always there for each other

Whether it's a dance recital, school performance, graduation, prom, and everything in between you go to support your cousins.

7. You can't wait for family vacations

As soon as you hear you're going on vacation with your cousins, the countdown begins. I've had my fair share of cousin vacations are they're some of the best memories I have.

8. They're the siblings you always wanted

or are they? Cousins can be better then siblings because you are just as close, but don't have to live with them.

9. You can't wait to have kids that are just as close as you guys are

I'm so grateful to have cousins that I'm so close to and can't wait for my kids to be have the same.
