I know that we were all super excited when Freeform released the 13 Nights of Halloween, but I know that we were even less excited when we noticed that the Halloweentown Series was only being played once and only at or past midnight? It was so frustrating since they are my favorite Halloween movies. To express my upset, here are 13 reasons why Halloweentown is underrated.

1. It's Such a Feel Good Family Movie

There's always a happy ending with the family coming together, what's better than a feel good Disney movie like that?

2. There's So Much Good Advice

Grandma Aggie just absolutely kills it throughout all of the movies with her incredible advice. Like, go grandma...

3. #GirlPower

This movie is literally the ultimate embodiment of girl power. Three female witches are the most powerful witches in Halloweentown? Sign me up!

4. It's Okay to Be Different

That was literally the whole point of Halloweentown High, is that it's okay to be different, even if you're a witch or werewolf.

5. The Outfits

These outfits are actually so perfect like, way to go Disney.

6. Lucas Grabeel

How can you not love Lucas after watching Return to Halloweentown? He's actually like the perfect guy in this movie. Not to mention, he's actually adorable.

7. Benny

I feel like this doesn't need any explanation. We all know that Benny actually makes the Halloweentown movies. Don't forget to 'Enjoy your stay in Halloweentown!'

8. That Jack-o-lantern though

As a child, I always wanted to have a pumpkin as large as that jack-o-lantern or at least to get to witness the lighting of it. By the way, apparently, a town in Oregon actually does this? Who's ready to road trip?

9. The Kids Were Raised By A Single Mom

There's never enough representation of single moms in Disney movies, so this is killer. Not to mention the fact that the children aren't even misbehaved.

10. Be Cautious!

I think one of the best overall ideas for this movie series is to never judge a book by its cover. It's a rather consistent theme, but I think that it's really important to remember.

11. Platonic Friendships Are Cool

Halloweentown was also really great at demonstrating that boys and girls can just be friends.

12. I Really Want A Broom

Can we just talk about how cool it probably is to ride a broom, like these movies just really solidified that for me?

13. Obviously, It Just Shows How Cool Halloween Really Is

Halloween is just really such an amazing holiday like you go up to strangers and they just give you free candy? Hello, that's such an amazing holiday. What's better, honestly?
