As the colder weather arrives, we all begin to mourn the loss of our favorite sport, football. However as a Christmas gift to fans everywhere we get one last hoorah of the season and get to enjoy in the NCAA College Football Playoffs. Here's a rundown of who's playing who in the biggest games of the season.

Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual- January 1, 2018, 5pm ET

The first of the semi-final games features No. 3 Georgia versus No. 2 Oklahoma. Georgia has proven themselves to be a powerhouse this year but will they have enough power to overcome the Oklahoma Sooners? Or will the Sooners prove victorious. Both teams fight for that spot in Championship Game.

Allstate Sugar Bowl- January 1, 2018 8:45pm ET

The second of the semi-final games, which features No. 4 Alabama versus No. 1 Clemson. Alabama has had its ups and downs over the last few weeks of the season and was making fans concerned about the possibility of a playoff game. Do they have what it takes to beat the No. 1 team? We'll find out. Catch this game on ESPN.

College Football Playoff National Championship January 8, 2018

The greatest thing about this game is that no one knows who will be facing until the week before. Keeping fans on their toes, will your favorite team continue on to the Championship. The best of the College Football faces off for the last hoorah of the season.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
