Fall semester has come to a close, and spring semester is right around the corner. Let's make this semester a good one!
1. Don't lose your class syllabi.
If you want to ensure that you don't miss any more due dates or test dates, don't lose track of your class syllabi! You should keep them easily accessible in a folder or on your desk.
2. Avoid cramming before tests.
Cramming does more harm than good. Instead, study a little each day leading up to the test, and leave the last day for reviewing and refreshing yourself on older material.
3. Leave enough time in the morning to grab breakfast.
Most students work better on a full stomach! It's pretty hard to get any real work done when all that's on your mind is what you're going to eat after class.
4. Get some homework done in between classes.
Squeezing in some homework between classes will clear out more free time during your nights and mornings.
5. Remember that it's okay to ask for help.
It's always okay to ask a professor, tutor, or even a classmate for help. Just because we're college students doesn't mean we know everything!
6. Make an effort to stay more organized.
The more organized you are, the less anxious you'll be. Organized work means no more lost papers!
7. Get enough sleep at night.
Getting enough rest can really impact the rest of your day. Aim to get 7-9 solid hours of sleep each night this semester.
8. Save time in your day to do something you love.
It's okay to stop and smell the flowers! No matter how busy you are, there should always be enough time in your day for a few minutes of you time.
9. Make some extra cash.
College is expensive! It might be a good idea to get a part-time job or two if you don't have one already.
10. Eat a little healthier.
If you eat better, you'll feel better too!
11. Set some goals.
Rather than trying to perfect everything in your life, choose a few specific things you would like to improve and start there.
12. Never give up.
Determination is the key to success.
