And this saying couldn't be any more accurate. I was fortunate enough to vacation with my family this Winter Break in Costa Rica for ten days. We saw all sorts of wildlife like monkeys and sloths, we had amazing beach days, horseback rode up to waterfalls to swim in, white water rafting and mangrove kayaking, learning to surf, and just some of the best experiences I have ever had.

Not to mention the people in Costa Rica are so kind and friendly, I was so sad to leave. Especially when we went white water rafting and mangrove kayaking with the company Amigos Del Rio. Our guides treated us like family and made us smile from minute 1. The appreciation they showed us for the natural world was confounding.

If you are looking for an amazing vacation definitely put Costa Rica on the top of your list.
