Everyone has their good days, as well as the down right ready to give up and hate the world days. What some people fail to realize is, you cant have a rainbow without any rain. I know and understand some days are extremely tough, and you arent sure exactly how you are going to make it through. However, theres always something to be grateful for, even if it is the little things in life. Heres 10 ways to make every day a good day.

1.) Wake up & say 5 things you love about yourself. Not only will this help boost your confidence and make you feel good about your self, but itll also start your day out on a good note.

2.) Sing your favorite song to the top of your lungs in the shower. I mean, who doesnt love an early morning jam session. Might as well pretend your that singer and you have a complete audiance, what better place to Start with than In the shower.

3.) Do a simple, but good deed. That homeless lady on the side of the street, give her some change. Not all homeless people are bad people and with These days and this economy, life can be hard. Donate that spare change in the side of your door. If your not comfortable with that, give them some food. Anything helps and at the end of it youll feel alot better that you did something.

4.) Cleaning and organizing. Believe it or not, when your house is a mess, your life is a mess. Cleaning can be a handful at times, but when you start cleaning turn some good tunes on, jam out and watch how spotless your house can get. Itll feel great when you kick back and relax and the house is spotless clean.

5.) Go for a walk, maybe a run? Exercise is always fun, but only when its on YOUR terms, lol. Go for a walk, even a run, maybe? Its a great way to blow off some stress and youll probably feel 3 pounds lighter when its done.

6.) Go to the park and have fun. Sometimes adulting is hard, and life gets the best of us. But that doesnt mean we should just be bitter forever. Go to your neighborhood park, swing on the swings. Have fun, let your inner child out and itll be the most fun yet simple thing.

7.) Write down Goals. Maybe a list of 2 or 5 goals you want to have done, either by the end of the day or the end of the week. Itll make you feel so amazing knowing you got it accomplished and out of the way. Even if its just a simple goal, like eating healthy for dinner. Knowing that you put your mind to it & did it, youll feel amazing.

8.) Dance it out. Sometimes all a girl needs is her music and her moves. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with turning the radio up and just dancing it out. Thanks greys anatomy for teaching me that one!

9.) Put on a bomb outfit. Dressing up, doing your hair and make up even if its just going to Walmart can make all the more difference. Youll feel so cute and comfortable, that it just puts you in a great mood. plus, who doesnt love playing in make up! Its anazing.

10.) Treat yourself. Your favorite ice cream, bottle of wine, shopping trip, or even a mani/pedi. If youve had a long, hard day, treat yourself. Dont worry about the calories, or all the extra money you just spent, enjoy that moment and soak it in. Especially after the days been extremely long. You deserve it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
