To whom it may concern I am now 16. Its barely been a month. All school year the office and guidance told me how I had to ride out the constant name calling and dirty looks. And finally after what felt like forever, the day came. But I couldn't start jumping and cheering just yet. Yet another one of agitators is in my class. Gym class to be exact. I have a heart murmur, I was born with it; It makes my heart beat more slowly. While running I cant breathe and mostly end up hyperventilating because of this, I know what you're thinking. Just slow down. I cant, we get graded on having to do over a 65. We do the pacer test weekly. Going to the nurse doesn't help, she insists its because im a little chubby and need to work out. I go to the gym almost everyday for 2 hours + or do at home workouts. Yet, another flaw in New Jersey schools, Back to the bully. My mom asked for the girls schedule to be changed. There's two other girls in my class that she has problems with, so it makes sense to change her schedule. I am writing this from the guidance office. I was told to stay here and come here until they can change her schedule. What about the two other girls? Do they just have to obtain the death stares and name calling. I have to sit here, no work to do since its the second day of the semester. And dont have my phone since this place isnt a hang out session. Changes need to be made, they dont stop theses girls from making our day a living hell. Imagine having to go to the bathroom and then being scared since one of the girls could be in there. Imagine knowing that the school isnt on your side. Imagine the vice principal bluntly say to you and your mother that HE is sick of dealing with this all, as if we arent. Imagine changing where you go to class so you dont run into them, imagine not wanting to get the education you deserve because you dont want to be made fun of for always answering the questions. Imagine girls who hate you follow you home, make fun of your deceased parents, make fun of your weight and just imagine not being able to feel anymore. Imagine just being so fed up and wanting help, for it to be over. But not knowing where to go or what to do.
