It's hard always being the second option. You're always comparing yourself to the girl he seems to like more. Then you start looking through her Instagram pictures trying to figure out why he chose her over you. Is it because she has a better body than me? Is it because she dresses better than me? Is it her smile? Or maybe she's smarter than me? What is it?
We've all been here before. It's sad to think you'd do anything for a guy that only looks at you as just another one of his "girls." Another one of his girls he has wrapped around his finger. But stop. Stop comparing yourself to other girls; it's not you, it's him. You can't keep someone who isn't meant to be kept. We often try to keep someone around because we fear being lonely.
We don't realize being lonely is better than being mistreated and left feeling like nothing. Left feeling like everything we do is wrong. We sit thinking what we should've or could've done and maybe that person would have stayed around. You do not need someone that doesn't know what they want, you do not need someone that doesn't see your worth. We are always blaming ourselves because of a guy who doesn't notice our worth.
We even have sat in our room drowning in tears about it. But what we didn't know is that god is preparing us for someone better. God doesn't remove people out of our lives without coming along and placing someone better into our lives. So stop worrying about that guy who stopped replying to your messages and left you on read. Stop worrying about the guy who told you-you were everything to him but left you like it was nothing.
Stop breaking your own heart for someone who probably won't be as good as you expect and give yourself an opportunity to be happy and be with someone who actually deserves you. You are worth so much more. You are a queen, you are enough, you've always been and you always will be.
