If you know me at all, you probably know that coffee is just slightly important to me. It only accounts for about 80 percent of my body, so you know, not that important. That being said, it's probably a very good idea (as in if you value your physical safety) to not address me until after I have had my morning cup of joe. Or two. With my obviously completely normal and healthy relationship with coffee, I thought it might be best if I took a little in my sorority who also loved coffee (let's be real, she's going to after a few weeks with me, anyway...). So for all you fellow coffee lovers out there wanting to expose your littles (or anyone who has any sense for what is good in life) to the wonderful world of coffee, here are some fun coffee-inspired gift ideas:

1. DIY coffee sleeves.

Because fall weather means pumpkin spice EVERYTHING all the time (basic, I know). This tutorial shows you 14 cute ways to make a coffee sleeve yourself!

2. Sharpie mug.

These DIY sharpie mugs are actually super easy to make (even for the ridiculously artistically-challenged person like me)! Plus you can find a million gabillion designs, colors, mug types, etc.!

3. Starbucks USB.

Okay, so I might just love this because I am a teensy bit obsessed with all things miniature, but I mean COME ON. Just look at how adorable this Starbucks USB is!

4. DIY vanilla coffee sugar scrub.

I guess this is for those who want to waste precious coffee on something other than drinking it.. But I must admit, the smell and results from the scrub are divine.. Plus, who's to say you can't make yourself a pot of coffee to drink while your having a mini spa-day? Multi-coffee-tasking, people. It's a real thing.

5. Perfect coffee order canvas.

If you're lucky like me, you will have a little who really is a fun addition to the fam--plus this canvas is still easy to do, thank the lord (can you tell how important easiness is for me?).

6. "Gilmore Girls" craft numero uno.

I'm pretty sure living the coffee life in a sorority also means you like "Gilmore Girls" -- there's no choice.

7. "Gilmore Girls" craft numero dos.

All right, I know I said these were to make for your little, but I'm sure you as a big would just absolutely love it if your little made something for you, too, just because they love you so much...(hint, hint).

8. "Gilmore Girls" craft numero tres.

Let's be real, the "Gilmore Girls" are the ultimate standard for coffee drinkers. One can only hope to reach their level one day...

9. Coffee lover gift basket.

This blogger somehow managed to put together a recipe for the perfect coffee lover gift basket, and it doesn't even break the budget (I'm pretty sure I just heard every broke college kid sigh in relief). Plus everything is super easy to find and different themes/color schemes are easily applicable -- so basically she's the master of coffee-gift giving, bless her soul!

Now go and make those coffee loving littles' day! And try not to hint too hard that you might just want a little bit of coffee something in return...

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
