Did I not say there would be controversy so early in the season? Week three and everybody is losing their sh*t over the fact that NFL players kneeled during the national anthem before their games on Sunday. I was not able to watch Sunday's Patriots game due to babysitting, but after hearing about all of this talk with them kneeling, it's getting pretty ridiculous.

Patriots kneeling during the national anthem before versing The Houston Texans.

Buffalo Bills kneeling during the national anthem before versing The Denver Broncos.

The Indianapolis Colts kneeling during the national anthem before versing The Cleveland Browns.

The Dallas Cowboys kneeling during the national anthem before versing The Arizona Cardinals.

Colin Kapernick of the San Francisco 49ers kneeling during the national anthem.

Back in August of 2016, Colin Kapernick (Pictured above) kneeled during the national anthem before one of their games. He has since then received a lot of backlashes for it. The reason for why he kneeled was to silently protest against police brutality and inequality that those of color go through.

As you may or may not know (but you most likely do know), on Sunday, September 24, 2017 was the day every team in the NFL took a knee during the national anthem, silently protesting exactly what Kapernick had protested for in August 2016. If you look at the teams pictured above, you will see that not only people of color are kneeling, but also white people as well. They are supporting their teammates for what they believe in. People,it is 2017! Why is inequality still a thing? Asking for a friend.

Also, you know our very lovely (Said with much sarcasm) talking orange cheese puff of a president had to comment on this. Where did he take to? The only place he knows and feels big and tough... Twitter!

My guy, don't you have political things to worry about? Get off your phone, laptop, tablet, whatever you are tweeting from and WORK ON THE COUNTRY. Stop acting like a 12-year-old girl taking to Twitter about all of her problems. Just stop, seriously. He is acting like that middle school girl who always acts tough behind a computer screen, but when you see her in person, she is as quiet as a hat drop. I seriously never comment on political news or any sort of news in the first place, but this is all getting so annoying. I never have an opinion on anything because I just don't want people to start arguments. However, now I'm starting to see why I should have one. Trump is not even taking the time to really talk to NFL teams to see why they are taking this knee to silently protest! He automatically goes to, "It is disrespect to the flag, fire these sons of b***hes!" Because that's also a part of making America great again, right? Basically taking away a whole sport that I'm pretty sure 90% of America watches. Sure, yeah, that helps. Why haven't we impeached this man already?

Please note that this fan seems to have bought a steering wheel cover JUST to burn it, stupid.

Okay, now onto what really grinds my gears (As if they're not already ground enough): HOW PEOPLE ARE BOYCOTTING THE NFL!? Burning all of the merchandise, single-game tickets, season tickets that YOU bought with YOUR money?! Yeah, smart. I'm sure the NFL is scared now! They already have your money, and now you're just wasting it. As cheeto-man (Donald Trump) would say: Sad. I really hope all of you realize that you're just basically burning your money. Also, a true fan to their team would never burn anything with their team's logo on it, no matter what. This is also showing who is just a fake fan.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
