There are many theories about same-sex marriage. Some believe that marriage should available to anyone of any sexual orientation. While others try to maintain a "traditional" marriage. What about kids? What are kid's perspectives on same-sex marriage?
On Jimmy Kimmel's Live, he got a small sample of young kids, ages 13 and under, and asked the simple question: "What is Gay Marriage?" There were various of innocent (yet hilarious) responses. One stated, "Gay marriage is when a boy and a boy gets married." The interviewer then questioned "What about girls? Can girls and girls get married?" The kid replied, "That will be lesbian marriage!" In another instance, another child was asked what their perspectives on gay marriage were. His response, "Anyone should be allowed to get married. But, they need to get married during the afternoon." Or "Anyone can get married as long as they're old enough!" It's quite hilarious what some of these kids comes up with.
In the end, we (and the interviewed kids) all agree that same-sex marriage should be open to anyone of any sexual orientation.
