It is always an exciting time when a new Greek organization joins a college campus. Next fall, Gamma Phi Beta will be joining the PanHellenic Conference at the University of Kentucky. A representative from Gamma Phi Beta's national HQ came to campus to officially announce that they will be joining the Greek community.
Gamma Phi Beta was founded on November 11, 1874 at Syracuse University in New York. Their mission is to inspire the highest type of womanhood. Gamma Phi Beta has a mission vision to help build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us.
Women will be able to join the new sorority after next year's sorority recruitment. Women will have to set up interviews with representatives from their headquarters to be selected to be founding members of this new colony.
