Fellow gamers, our week has gone and passed; E3 2016 has come and gone, leaving us with games upon games to look forward to. Staying up late across the world, gamers watched in anticipation as the six major press conferences aired. Here are my reactions and thoughts alongside a few notable gamers.
1. EA Press Conference:
Here we go; off to start E3 is everyone's "favorite" publisher, Electronic Arts. As expected, EA started off big with a tease of Battlefield 1, but left it till the end of the show to actually show gamers what they wanted. Instead, EA opted to give us 30 minutes -- half of their show -- of FIFA. Now, I don't know the numbers regarding their sports games, but I really don't see a reason for EA to spend so much time showing us what we don't care about. The people that watch E3 are gamers who play for Mass Effect or Battlefield; in fact, those who play FIFA games were probably watching the main European cup, which was live during the EA press conference. Regardless of logic, EA finally got on to showing off ME: Andromeda -- which I am highly skeptical of after the ending of Mass Effect 3 -- and finally Battlefield 1. Ah, Battlefield 1. Please be as good as your marketing is!

2. Bethesda Press Conference
A new Quake? Interesting. The original series of Quake games were before my time, but I am curious as to how far they will be "Modernized" away from their roots this time around. A new Prey game? Or a new game called Prey? Prey 2? Uh, I'm not sure about this one-- I'll need to actually know what it is before I can have an opinion on it. Elder Scrolls 6? Nope, just a card game (ARGH) and an expansion for the "Elder Scrolls Online" -- and a very, veryhappy lady in the audience. All in all, I was very disappointed in no mention of an ES6.
Gamespot had a few words on the "Skyrim Special Edition," though.
3. Microsoft Press Conference
While I am not a console gamer, I was impressed at Microsoft's effort at cross-platform play-- though letting Xbox and PC players play against each other may have some adverse affects. Few notable games were shown, but the introduction to Project Scorpio was highly intriguing. Will console players actually be able to play in 4k for the first time? Doubtful, as you also need a 4k monitor at 120 hertz to actually play it (It's not all about the rendering device, it's the display adapters too), but hey, we'll see.
The IGN panel had good things to say about Gears of War 4.
4. PC Gaming Show
Here is where the good stuff happened. For one, this was one of the only conferences, other than Sony's, that didn't feel awkward and forced; Sony was only because they hardly talked the whole time -- but that's for later. Hosted by the staff of PC Gamer Magazine, the PC Gaming Show had famous names from across the industry come out and talk about their games, with the Creative Director behind "Arma 3" APEX and the legendary developer of the original "Deus Ex" to name a few. Also shown was the Lunaro expansion to "WARFRAME," alongside a host of other trailers. All in all an excellent show.

5.Ubisoft Press Conference
I do not care for Ubisoft games, personally. After the debacle of Watch Dogs and the butchering of Rainbow Six, I cannot take Ubisoft's lies in their trailers. They use voice actors for their gameplay and CG for their graphics. As such I have no opinion on Ubisoft's Press Conference.
6. Sony Press Conference
Hideo Kojima. God of War is an Open-World game now. A live orchestra. A new IP with lots of zombies. I cannot put this conference to words; all I can do is show you the, in my opinion, best Press Conference of E3 2016.

There we have it; E3 2016 is one to remember. We have a ton of good games to look forward to this year. How is my wallet supposed to handle them all?
