A Letter To My Future Husband, I Need You To Read This

I pray that God leads us to each other at the right time I know you will be a man of God. Even though I don't know you yet I know you are going to be perfect, so thank you in advance for being patient, compassionate, loving, caring, and much more.

I pray that your life is an example of God's grace and mercy, and when people see you they draw to your light. When you come I pray that I know it is right and don't doubt it. I forget sometimes that I am being prepared for you, and you are being prepared for me, so patience is a virtue.

I pray that you will seek God first in every decision you make. I want to fall in love with the way you love God. Thank you for all the times that you are going to be patient with me when I have an attitude.

Thank you for times you will accept my flaws, and show me the beauty in each of them. Thank you for all the future spontaneous acts of love and kindness, and making me fall deeper in love with you each day.

I pray that you stay present and persistent in our marriage, and when things get tough or harder you fight for what we have. I pray that we enjoy and embrace the good and bad moments.

Thank you for the times you will love me during our trials, and staying faithful to me. Thank you for times that the little things you do go unnoticed.

Thank you for the support and encouraging words you will give me in everything I do. Thank you for the respect you have for me. I am going to love how you aren't intimidated by me being an independent woman.

To my future husband I can't wait to meet you.

Love your wife,

Victoria.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
