If FSU Sororities Were South Florida Drywall Contractors

I know we all were thinking about it, so I decided to write it.

Sororities have been compared to Disney princesses, characters in popular TV shows and even dogs. But out of all of these articles written, not once have I seen them compared to South Florida Drywall Companies—the heart and backbone of South Florida. So sit back, relax and skim over everything except for the part that talks about your sorority.

ADPi/Delta Gamma: Cleveland Construction Inc.

These two are very popular sororities, just like Cleveland Construction Inc. On Cleveland Constructions website, they’re one of the few South Florida Drywall Contractors that actually has a review. Their one review gave them four and a half stars and says “is good woud rcommend1’”

Zeta/Theta: Complete Drywall Inc.

Complete Drywall likes to use gypsum plaster and press it between two sheets of material. I’m sure there’s at least one Zeta or Theta somewhere at any school that might find that interesting, too.

Gamma Phi/Alpha Gam: Oceanside Drywall Inc.

Just like Oceanside Drywall, GPhis and Alpha Gams are feminists. While the drywall industry is primarily dominated by males, Oceanside Drywall Inc has a female secretary because they recognize the importance in girl power.

Delta Zeta/Phi Mu: Aetna Drywall Contractors Inc.

Delta Zetas and Phi Mus are family oriented and love spending time with their hundreds of sisters. This is the same with Aetna Drywall Contractors because they’re all a part of the baby boomer generation and also have many siblings. Sometimes when Aetna Contractors are asked if they know their biological sister they say “Yeah! Well I know of her, but we actually haven’t spoken too much.”

AOPi: ABC Drywall Corporation.

AOPi ladies are definitely the “take home to Mom” type of girls, and so are the ABC Drywall Corporation Contractors. AOPi girls will put a napkin in their laps and won’t even salivate until after saying grace, similar to how ABC Drywall Contractors approach their lunch break where they have to raise an American flag and sacrifice one worker to the lambs.

Sig Delt/KD: Drywall Builders Enterprises.

In comparison to Sig Delt and KD, Drywall Builders Enterprises are just as big into partying as their sorority counterpart. While working on Drywall, the Drywall builders Enterprises like to listen to some soft jazz and quietly bob their heads to try to feel something for once.

Pi Beta Phi/KKG: TT Drywall Corporation.

Just like the lovely ladies of these two sororities, TT Drywall Corporation Contractors are sociable happy go-lucky workers who are looking for a good time and a good steak, except for Raphi who’s a vegetarian.

Tri Delt/Alpha Phi: Sturdy Dry Contractor Inc.

Tri Delt, Alpha Phi and Sturdy Dry Inc love our veterans! Tri Delts and Alpha Phis shows their support by dressing up in camouflage and going out to Pots on Veterans Day. Similarly, a ninth year worker at SDC Inc, Stan, is a veteran himself and appreciates veteran support seen in Instagram pictures.

Alpha Chi Omega: S & KHS Contractors Inc.

A Chi O is very fashionable, just like S & KHS Contractors, who are one of few companies that have their very own matching navy jumpsuit uniforms. These uniforms have their logo hand stitched onto the upper left pocket to ensure their workers look as sharp as possible, just like the ladies of A Chi O.

Chi Omega: KHS Contractors Inc.

Similar to the sorority world, Chi Omega’s comparison drywall contractor is the same as Alpha Chi Omega’s, just minus the first word.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
