To my friends,
The question of the century, "how have we made it this far?" We started out as the newbies, the inexperienced freshmen with no idea where anything is on campus, let alone the city, itself. For many of you, as I, we are far from home, which seems to be immeasurable. Together, we walked around unfamiliar places and explored to become familiar with our surroundings. We haven't experienced everything Charleston has to offer, yet, but we have definitely experienced the night-life and the immense heat.
All of the things we have experienced together, fun or fearful, has allowed me to get to know each of you. You have been there to comfort me when I needed advice or when I just needed a stress-reliever from school.

Hunter, you are by far my best friend. I have gotten to know you and sometimes I feel that I know you better than you know yourself. From constantly talking about our problems to giving each other relationship advice, I instantaneously connected with you. No matter what, I know I can always have you as a shoulder to lean on.
To my beautiful besties, thank you for everything you have done for me. We have talked boys, gossiped, shopped, and spent endless nights cramming for tests. Carli, Emily R., Emily Rh., and Julianne, you guys have joined me in many my explorations. We've been all over together, whether that be getting lunch or going out. I have connected with each of you on a personal level. Sha'Ron and Ja'Kiyah, I have gotten to know you two the most. Sha'Ron, we literally have every class together. I have spent many of my nights studying with you and seeing your beautifulness every day; you're my "bestie." Ja'Kiyah, you're personality completes you. You are humorous and beautiful. I love each of you guys and I want to thank each of you for accepting me for who I am.

From taking "L's" together to laughing uncontrollably, you all have made my college experience so much more realistic. Being the new freshmen, living in a new city, and attending class, we ultimately helped each other grasp the new norms in our lives. I have explored the far reaches that Charleston has to offer as we ventured out of our small dorms to the long depths of King Street and as far away as Battery Park. We have adapted to our surroundings and assimilated into the society that Charleston has to offer. I will forever be grateful for you guys.
