Family is such a huge part of my everyday life. I lean on them for support and they are always there for me. I also, however, have friends who are the same way. I can trust them with anything and go to them when I need a shoulder to lean on. Even though they are not technically my family, I still call them cousins, aunts and uncles. We all do so many things together just like my regular family does. When there is something big going on, both sides are usually there or know about it.
I have known all of them for as long as I can remember. Our parents were all friends so we obviously all grew up to be the same. We all grew up Polish and with crazy families. Our fathers have been best friends forever, and our mothers soon became close too; we knew we would all be too. So much has happened along the way with all of us growing up together. We would go on vacations together, sleepovers like every weekend, play sports together, watch our Vikings play on Sundays, make up dances, talk about boys and so many more great things. But we have also seen some hardships. I know I will grow old with these girls, and they will always be some of my favorite people. As we all get older now and enter the real world, we all know whom to call when we have a problem. These girls will be part of my wedding and my family's life after it too. They have made such a huge impact on my life and will always push me to strive for better. We will be the girls you see in the nursing home causing all the trouble and just blaming it on someone else. And having Kara is such an amazing thing because she is like the older sister I never had and that I can look up too. She is such a role model for me. Kristi is just like a younger sister to me. My sister and she are like partners in crime. She is such a strong and beautiful young lady I can also look up to because nothing can get in her way.
We have all grown up so close and I know nothing will ever change our bond. Our friendship will always grow and change. But we know that we will always consider ourselves to be sisters at heart.
