Joey Tribbiani

In college, Joey experiences the worst case of the Freshman 15. He snacks every late night when he gets back to his dorm and enjoys every bite (usually pizza). Joey would not miss a night out. He has led on every girl on his floor, but only knows them by their name tag on their door. Every fraternity party or club night, Joey would be there. One day he sees a cute freshman in the dorm across the street from him, and counts the floors and tries to find her room. Instead, he knocks on the RA's door. He misses every Thursday of classes due to his horrible way of remembering the days of the week. (Monday- one day, Tuesday-two day, Wednesday- what day?, Thursday- the third day). He takes a French class to satisfy a General Education requirement, and Phoebe has to help tutor him but he is still failing out. He gets in trouble by his RA’s for hiding his pet chick and duck in his dorm room so they bring them to "a special farm."

Phoebe Buffay

Phoebe replaces her desks and other furniture with antiques she found at a flea market because she hates massed-produced products. She goes on runs around campus and people laugh at her because of the silly way she runs, and she loses a few friends who are embarrassed by this. A few of them put Phoebe in their Snapchat Stories, and one where she falls makes it into the Campus Story. Phoebe takes a theater class and performs “Smelly Cat” and gets a C for her performance. Phoebe and Joey are paired together in this theater class for a kissing scene, and thus their friendship begins. Phoebe becomes Joey’s “wing-girl” whenever they go out.

Chandler Bing

Chandler is too awkward to find a roommate and gets randomly selected with Ross freshman year. When the two meet for the first time, they are unsure if they should awkwardly hug or shake hands. He moves himself in because he is embarrassed by both of his parents and refuse to let them help him. Him and Ross split a chair that goes back and a small TV in their room. Chandler majors in business but no one is sure what his specialization is. He makes corny jokes every time he meets someone new, and is not very liked at first. He rushes for a fraternity and gets a bid back. During pledging he gets hazed more than any other pledge. Chandler constantly strikes out with girls until Ross’s younger sister Monica visits and them two hit it off. Ross finds out and sleeps in a friend’s room for a few days until the two of them makeup.

Rachel Green

Rachel’s mom and dad rent a U-Haul for all of Rachel’s belongings and put $1000 on her school ID to get her started. This is Rachel’s first time being away from home, and she does not know how to be independent. She does not take her classes seriously and has the minimum GPA that she needed to rush a sorority. She FaceTimes her “daddy” every day to complain about how her professors aren’t giving her good grades even though she shows up to class. Her daddy cuts her off because she breaks up with a smart boy in her class that has a promising future. Monica, Rachel’s best friend from high school who goes to the same college as her, helps her get involved with various clubs related to fashion. At the club fair, they run into Chandler and Ross and Ross asks Rachel out. Rachel decides to major in marketing for fashion and gets an internship at a local boutique in her hometown.

Monica Geller

Monica posted in the Facebook group for the freshman class describing herself and stating that she is looking for a roommate. She explains how she is neat, eats a lot, and is very competitive. Her post gets zero likes and no one messages her separately. As a result, she gets assigned a random roommate and is living in the oldest dorm on campus. Her roommate moves out within the first week of college because Monica was constantly cleaning and organizing her side of the room and did not let her move anything. Monica offers to pay people to do their laundry and clean their rooms. She puts a sign up on her door that says “Cleanest Room Award”. Contrary to most people, she loses 15 pounds before thanksgiving and by then her and Chandler start dating. She gets straight A’s first semester but does not make one friend in any of her classes because she participates the most. For every tailgate she wakes up early and wakes everyone up on her floor to keep them on schedule to be the first ones at the tailgate, and she never snoozes her alarm even once.

Ross Geller

Ross fills his dorm room with dinosaur toys and has a timeline of all of the different ages in history up on his wall on his side of the room. When Chandler and Ross purchase their new chair, it is hard to bring it up the narrow stairwell of their dorm. Ross repeatedly screams "PIVOT" each flight of stairs. Ross has a 4.0 his first year of college and is asked to TA a class on paleontology. He ubers from his class before to the class he is TA'ing because they are 10 minutes apart, and are a 20 minute walk. Monica and Ross's parents visit them his second year and they spend the whole weekend criticizing Monica and admiring Ross. Monica finally cracks and reveals an embarrassing story of when Ross accidentally showered in the women's bathroom and coming out of the shower to see a line of girls waiting for an open shower. Ross has a stressful week at school and he goes to the student union for lunch to cool off. He gets up to get a napkin and when he got back to his seat his wrap was gone. He was kicked out and banned from the student union for two weeks for screaming and blaming everyone around him for eating his wrap.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
