To my best friend,

Though we are far away, there is nothing better then our snapchat wars and our constant tagging. We have been best friends for years and though we are miles apart we still keep our bond strong. When it comes to every break in college I’m crazy excited to see you.

There are those moments where something crazy happens and I know you’re only a phone call or text away. You are the strong one in our friendship, the one that doesn’t cry and always stays emotionless like a statue when I secretly think that you too want to cry.

We have been through it all together: Tears, boyfriends, heartbreak, secrets, and crazy memories. You are the person I love singing and dancing in the car with and making late night snacks on our sleepovers. (Always have to have that box of brownie mix on hand.)

Best friends basically since birth, no matter the difference in crowds that we hang around, I know you are the one true thing that will stay in my life. Never have we ever had a fight or have “broken up.” You are the number one decision maker in my life and the first one I call for an opinion. Though we have made new friends throughout our time apart, we are always together. We could not talk for days, but once we're back in our hometown it is like as though nothing has changed.

You are amazing, beautiful, smart and the best friend I will ever have. Through thick and thin, together for always, best friends we will always be.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
