Dear Best Friend,

You're my person, my rock, my concert buddy, my other half (as most say), and this is such a huge part of both of our lives. Being able to walk across the same stage as you and get our diplomas together is going to be phenomenal! In around three short months we both will be on our way to our next step of life on the pathway to success.

You've been there to build me up, and make the best high school memories anybody could ask for. The unconditional support and love you've shown me is baffling because nobody has ever treated me in such a way before. You taught me how real friends are meant to act, how being sympathetic is good but constructive criticism is sometimes whats necessary.

I'm going to miss walking through the same halls as you, having classes with you, and seeing you every single day. But, this is only the beginning for the both of us. We have been through so many hard situations in the past four years that we've known each other, this is nothing compared to the difficulties we've endured. I know nothing about our friendship is going to change really, we'll still always be there for each other good, bad, or indifferent. After all we are only a text or a FaceTime call away.

The amount of memories we've made is really the foundation of the long lasting friendship I know we will have, because we are so passionate that I'd do anything for you and I know that feeling is reciprocated. Even with a little over an hour of distance between our schools, I know that we still have thousands of memories to be had for our college years.

You're like a part of my family at this part, which makes it that much harder to accept that we wont be able to see each other all of the time once we're in college. But you've altered my life in such a crazy positive way- I couldn't imagine my life without you because so many things would be different. You've ultimately been my biggest support system, and I couldn't thank you enough for lifting me up when i was down and holding me together when i was broken on the inside. We're off to do amazing things, and I cant wait to see where each of us make it in the world. I don't know where we'll be in the next four years, but I know we'll be off to do even more amazing things! I love you to the moon and back, but you already know that.

Love,

Your best friend.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
