4 Ways 'The Bachelor' Will Make You Feel Better

Season 16 of "The Bachelor" is heating up quickly and living up to its “Most dramatic season yet” hype. "The Bachelor" is one way to get through your Monday slump and to take a break from all your schoolwork. "The Bachelor" is the perfect way to make yourself feel better about your daily struggles.

Everything is on TV.

One major difference between your daily struggles and the constants is that half of world isn’t seeing you once a week. Maybe 20 people at max will see you fall at the bar or the boy you texted 11 times in a row will show his roommates but it could be worse. At least, there are not daily memes about you on Facebook for all to see.

Twenty-five girls fight over one guy.

Don’t get me wrong, Ben is a dreamboat, and I would date him in a heartbeat. But there are 25 women that are fighting over him and going on weird, uncomfortable dates for one man. So maybe you are single as a Pringle, but at least, you aren’t sharing a group date with seven other ladies. If you are feeling down about being dateless on Valentine’s, just think you could be on a two on one date with a guy and a girl you live with.

You still have time.

You are young, you are wild and you are free, and you have at least 10 years ahead of you to worry about being alone forever. Usually, for the people who go on the show, they feel like this is their last shot of love (eye roll). You are still in college, and you have the real world to find love if it does not work out in college.

You are not on "The Bachelor."

Granted, yes, I would love to be on "The Bachelor," but that is only because I want to be the next Chris Harrison. You haven’t given up on a real shot of love and decided that reality TV will bring you your prince charming. We all love the show, but then again I think we are all happy we are not on it. Don’t get me wrong, I have tried to sign up a friend or two without them knowing but that was a fail.

Tune in on Mondays for more drama and tears! May your "Bachelor" bracket win, and your wine glass never run empty during the show.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
