What do you do when you are forgetful but you made a promise to a friend to write an article each week for a club? If you are like me you are excited about it and say this will be easy but then you forget. You forget because mainly you work a full time job that has you on your toes constantly and when you are home you do chores and all the stuff people do to keep their house nice. Also if you are like me then you are not very organized. You put stuff in your head and you don’t write it down, that doesn’t go well for someone who is forgetful. It’s an hour before the article is due so you are thinking what to write and how to write it. You are frustrated mainly at yourself because you were so stupid to not write it down or do it ahead of time. You have ideas in your head but you can’t get your mind to form your idea into words because you procrastinated but mainly forgot to do the article. Now you other people are depending on you to get it done and feel like the world is in your hands. So you do what any last minute college student you look for articles online, cheater! That doesn’t work though so you look through old work you have done but come to find out your computer deleted it all somehow. Then you finally you get your act together and just type something but then your dang computer crashes. Finally it comes back on and you are rushing to get that five hundred words or more essay done for that friend you promise. Now you don’t get graded for this or anything but you promised a friend and you are such a good friend you just have to keep that promise. After the frustration and sweating you finally finished your article. The only thing left to do now is turn it in. If you have a computer like me then it’s slower than a snail. So now you are sweating to get it turned in before the finally time. Finally, you get to the site where you need to turn it in but then your computer freezes. Then that’s when you cuss and give up on life. So you begin to think of excuses to give to your friend and the others on why you didn’t turn the article but then your computer finally starts up again. You get there and you load it into the drop box, submit, and you are done! You made it through this one, barely. Moral of this story is: if you are a forgetful person and make a promise to someone be sure to write it down. Also if you are writing articles for something it doesn’t hurt to have a little note pad to write down ideas you think of during the day. Also, if you make a promise be sure to not break it cause it can sometimes destroy friendships or make me not trust you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
