To My Long Distance Best Friend

To my long distance best friend,

The days spent together were more than fun, probably some of the best days of my life. Between all the laughs and jokes, who would have ever thought we'd be separated? Two peas in a pod, I guess you could call us.

But sometimes things change, and suddenly your best friend who you spent everyday with becomes your long distance best friend.

Sometimes Facetiming late at night isn't the same as eating food late at night in the dorms. While you might not be here physically, you're always with me.

You're the one person I know will always respond to my frantic texts. The one person who will give me a perspective I didn't see. The one person who will call me when I'm not feeling too great. The right kind of love is the love that lets go (thank you Hannah Montana for that wisdom). As much as I miss my best friend, and how I wish you were with me; I know it's best for you. You're my favorite person and will always be, I miss you so much.

Love you always.
