If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it. Get up, go out, and start living your life.
Stop sitting around waiting for the right time, the right mood, the right anything. The time is now. You're never going to be more ready than you are right this instant. Stop making excuses and get moving.
Get going on your dreams because they're going to slip out of reach. They'll float on past you while you're sitting there thinking, "I'm just not ready."
You're going to miss opportunities that won't come again. You're going to lose the best experiences because you're afraid of what could happen.
When are you going to start being afraid of what you're missing?
Here's the truth: No one is ever ready and everyone is just pretending. So why are you psyching yourself out?
What do you have to lose?
You could be embarrassed. So what? It's always worse in your head, and most of the time people are too worried about their own problems to even consider remembering your faults.
You could be rejected. So what? You can't have everything you want in life and, frankly, it's humbling to be told "no." Sure, it's going to suck, and yeah, it'll probably hurt, but you're going to learn so much from that experience. You'll move on, turn your rejection into a lesson, and the past will be the past. It will mold your future interactions, and for that you'll be thankful.
Go for it!
You could be successful.
You could soar past your wildest expectations.
You could surprise yourself.
You could start a movement.
You could inspire someone to take your advice.
You could brighten a smile, a day, a life.
You could spark a friendship or a relationship just because you were bold enough to take the first step and continue even when it was hard.
You should and need to push through your fears and go for what you want because you are in control of your own life. You are in charge of your actions, your thoughts, and your emotions.
You need to chase your dreams and pursue your future because if you don't, they're going slip away. Your waiting to be ready is only hindering your happiness.
Pull yourself together, shut down the fears even you know are irrational, and go for it. Apply for grad school, audition for the musical, talk to that guy. Put yourself out there and start living your life. Don't let your fears keep you from being yourself.
This is your sign.
Go for it!
