Most people today listen to music. And most of it is pop, rock, and country. However, most people don't delve into the amazing world of classical music. Most assume it is boring and "not cool" to listen to. However, these statements are false and I am hear to prove you wrong.

1. Classical music is extremely interesting.

Most music today is at one volume level, which is loud. Classical music has so much variety and keeps you thinking what will be next. Also, the movement of musical lines and textures adds to the experience. Not only does the music have a lot going on, all the parts are worked together in such a way that it just makes sense.

2. Classical music is the base of every kind of music.

All of our music today comes from one source, which was from classical music that stemmed into jazz and then the genres grew from there. Without these changes, we wouldn't have to music we normally have today.

3. Classical music makes you smarter.

Classical music makes your brain work. This stimulates nerves and releases dopamine, which is the thing that makes you happy. This process overall makes your brain work better and makes you "smarter".

4. It makes you more in tune with history.

A lot of classical music is older that most people alive today. Which makes it so cool. The music tells of the time period and gives you a better understanding of how the world was long ago.

5. It is just amazing overall.

I am not saying this is the superior type of music for everyone, however it is quite amazing.
