1. Laundry. I put off doing laundry until Sunday nights for a reason. It takes forever. But for some reason, I choose to do this for about six hours before I even crack a book. I've been told that it is possible to do laundry and homework at the same time, but I don't believe it. 

2. Organize my closet and dressers. This is a chore that my mother used to punish me with when I was eight years old. But when I know I have an assignment due in a couple hours, I suddenly can't think of anything I would rather do than color code my t-shirts.  

3. Read my Mother's Facebook. There are few things I dread more than my mom's misuse of social media, but one of them is homework. My mother's Facebook (like many middle aged people) includes things like status updates about the yardwork she did today, embarrassing photos of myself, and awkward selfies. The woman is an angel, but these things are out of hand. Still, I would rather do this for almost an hour before I start preparing for my 7:30 a.m. Recitation. Sorry, Mom.

4. Workout. Working out is usually not a priority for me, until I have an online quiz. And just like that, my health is of highest importance. I might even choose cardio which, to me, is the equivalent of taking my eyes out with a spoon. If you asked me to workout at any other time I would probably make an awkward noise and shuffle out of the room.

5. Doing taxes and financial responsibilities. By this, I mean listening to my dad explain taxes. This is usually an hour-long conversation with big words that are over my head. It usually ends with him telling me how much I owe and what I earned. That is pretty much the only part of the conversation that I understand.    

I really do get around to doing my homework. It may or may not be after midnight, but I still do it. One day, I will take care of my procrastination problem. But not today. Read more tidbits about my typical college behavior on Twitter @HolliRancher.
