5 Shows To Binge Watch Before Summer Ends

Whether you like it or not many of us young adults have devoloped a habit called "Binge Watching," specifically directed towards Netflix or Hulu. It's this "problem" that we have which includes us watching multiple 40 minute episodes of a T.V show in one sitting. I personally enjoy having a show that I can consistently watch throughout the month given I don't usually don't watch T.V anymore. So here are a few shows on Netflix, and I suggest picking one or two to watch before the summer concludes.

1.Friends (1994-2004)

Since many of us were fairly young when this show aired on the television many of us have already gladly watched it on Netflix and have gladly enjoyed all the different romances and crack-ups from each one of the charachters. If you haven't yet tapped into the Friends universe I highly suggest you do this before starting the next school year, it will surely leave you in a silly good mood.

2. Grey's Anatomy (2005-Present)

Thankfully this is one of the only shows on this list that is still running and the next season will reappear in Fall 2016. Even if you don't believe you'll enjoy watching doctors perform semi-gory surgeries, you'll easily be drawn into all the hospital drama. Also both the male and femals leads are absolutely stunning, and did I mention they'll make you feel like you can perform a surgery after two seasons.

3. Parks and Recreation (2009-2015)

If you are looking for a funny show to keep you're sad heart (coming closer to summer) lighthearted, then look no further than Parks and Rec. Each charachter will surely connect to you in some type of way and there is absoultely no reason why you should not love Leslie and Ron!

4. Gossip Girl (2007-2012)

Both Serena and Blair have at some point been every watchers spirit animals. With each season comes new twists you've never expected and eventually coming closer and closer tofinding out who the real "Gossip Girl" is. An online blogger who is a member of the Upper East side of the elite in New York blogs about a group of teebagers glamorous lives throughout high school and college.

5. One Tree Hill (2003-2012)

This show follows Nathan and Lucas Scott who have the same father, yet different mothers and completely different lives. The show follows the boys, and their friends throughout high school and past college into adulthood. This is my second time watching the series and I have still completely enjoyed watching the different romances and twists each time.

Whether you are watching any of these shows for the first time or this will be your third, enjoy your last month or more of summer! Don't stay inside watching these shows, yet if you have a chance to relax, just throw these on Netflix and enjoy!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
