Writer's block happens when someone may not have an idea at the very moment. I strive for creativity, and I let my ideas spring up spontaneously. How exactly? Journaling helps me reflect on any given day. I once spent the whole year trying to put all of the thoughts I had frequently like four or five daily entries each week. I wrote my jokes on this small notepad where I wrote each page of it, both sides on pencil and store each of those separate pages in a document envelope.
Writing became more fun for me with the help of one book: "642 Things to Write About." Out of the several entries, I would like to share five of them that I have wrote over the past three years from my own perspective and effort. I would recommend them to any writer needing the inspiration.
1. Honesty
"It can be brutal and anti-lying. Honesty is best appreciated when accepting reality. Take pain and criticism. Take life as it is meant to be."
2. Something you lost
"I lost my Mario wallet at a young age. It only contained a few bucks and a Target gift card."
3. What broke your heart
"Mistrust from any friend or family member can shatter a heart. I work hard to be a nice guy or being the most caring out of everyone in a single room. It's character-building."
4. Five ideas for a novel that you'll never write (A list-within-a-list)
"1. An atheist living in a life of crime
2. The life of a killer
3. A priest performing exorcisms daily
4. A person afraid of spiders and snakes
5. The future within 100 years"
5. Your favorite quote
"'The first person to forgive is yourself.' - Gavin Johnson, 2009"
Happy writing, everyone. Never quit on your pen or pencil for starters.
