OK, anyone that knows me (like, really knows me) knows that I am a Karlie Kloss fan. As a supermodel taking over the fashion world cover by cover, Kloss is basically all of the #goals of any high school or college dreamer. For me, however, it isn't the thin, beautiful frame or the money in the bank that makes Kloss's life my bucket list. Here are five reasons why Karlie is #goals.
1. She bakes.

Confession: I am not a good baker. I try, I really do. Ask my floormates how they feel about me baking and they'll probably recall the time I melted white chocolate into a plastic container trying the make something for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, and second Hill ended up smelling like plastic and burnt chocolate (which actually smells like s'mores, so no one really suffered).
But Queen Karlie is known to be quite the baker, and has stories of bringing her cookies she has baked on set for her modeling shoots. Does it get better? Yes. She also has a non-profit called "Karlie's Kookies" that sells gluten-free and vegan cookies with it's profits going to the FEED Projects. So in other words, you can eat one of Karlie's cookies and still make the world a better place.
2. She has traveled basically the entire world.
As we sit in our apartments/dorms/giant sofas wearing onesies while watching Netflix, how can we not get the slightest tinge of jealousy? From the 2014 Victoria Secret Fashion Show in London to her Vogue covers in Beijing, Karlie has pretty much been everywhere. Of course, she does have the advantage of being able to travel because she's - ahem - a supermodel, but we can still dream, right?! To get a glimpse of her travels, both in the states and internationally, take a look at 2015 for her.
3. She is "Klossy."
And when I say Klossy, I mean that Kar-Kar has her own Youtube channel called Klossy! If you clicked on the link that was shared with talking about her travels, then you know exactly what I am talking about. With almost half a million subscribers, she shows her down-to-earth self with videos about her travels, model makeup tutorials, advice, and just her in general awesomeness.
4. She is part of the Swift Squad.
Do I need to elaborate further why this is awesome?! Of course while it may not necessarily be #goals to be besties with Taylor, it is probably really freaking cool.
5. She helps empower women in computer science.
OK, so me being a computer science major does cause me to get just a little more giddy on this one. It's pretty awesome that Karlie has not only been taking classes in coding, but she also encourages coding to girls as the language of the future. She featured women who code on Klossy, and she also helps fund a scholarship called "Kode with Karlie" for 21 high school girls to attend a summer coding academy who would like to pursue a future in the field of computer science. If that doesn't scream "women empowerment," (considering the small percentage of computer science majors who are women) I don't know what does. You can learn even more about the program and scholarship opportunities she offers to women.
From cookies to travel fantasies, to being inspired to try an hour of code, we all could use a little more Karlie in our lives.
Stay Klossy, my friends.
